I started racing triathlon around six years ago, with an Olympic distance race as my first taste of the sport. I was hooked almost immediately, but it wasn't long before I found where I truly belonged: the longer stuff. 70.3, and eventually full Ironman distance, is where I fell in love with what this sport can teach you about yourself.
Along the way I studied for a degree in Sport Management and Coaching, because I wanted to understand not just how to train, but how to actually coach people well. That combination, real race experience plus a genuine grounding in the science and structure behind it, is what LimitX is built on.
The Journey, The Lessons, The Vision
My Coaching Philosophy
The athlete always comes first. That's not a slogan, it's the actual difference between working with a person and working with an app.
An algorithm can adjust your numbers. It can't tell when you're having a rough week at work, when you're not sleeping, when something in life has knocked your motivation. I can. And on the days I can't quite tell, chances are one of our other athletes will, because that's what this community is for.
We're all ambitious. Every one of us wants to get faster, go further, hit that goal we've set our sights on. But we're also amateur athletes with lives to live, jobs to show up for, and people who matter more than a Strava segment. Part of my job is helping you chase big goals without losing sight of that. Listen to your body, take training seriously, and still have fun along the way. All three of those things can be true at once.

Beyond the Training Plan
LimitX has always been about more than a spreadsheet of sessions. It's about building something that feels like it's actually got your back. That's why next year we're organising a LimitX weekend away, details still being finalised, but every LimitX athlete will get the chance to come together, train, and do what we all love, in person, as a group. As a LimitX athlete, you'll get priority access to this event before it's opened up more widely.
What You Get as a LimitX Athlete
-
A training plan built entirely around you, not a generic template
-
A coach who adjusts your plan based on how you're actually feeling, not just what the data says
-
A community of amateur athletes who understand exactly what you're going through, because they're going through it too
-
Support that goes beyond race day, structure, encouragement, and honest conversations when you need them
-
Priority access to LimitX events, including the upcoming weekend away
The Bottom Line
I've had the highs and the setbacks. I know what it feels like to chase a goal that seems just out of reach, and I know what it takes to actually get there. My job is to give you the structure, the support, and the belief to do the same, and to make sure you enjoy the journey while you're at it.
The future favours the bold.
